Bobby and Lindy need to write a song about Camps Bay!

But not just any song. It’s gotta be a song that everyone can sing along to. With the lyrics written by the team and you, our smileys! They want to remix the words to Justin Bieber’s “Baby”. On Friday 1 March Lindy put in some work, but let’s just say the team definitely needs your help.

Here’s what they’ve got for the chorus so far:

“Camps Bayby, Bayby, Bayby oh
Camps Bayby, Bayby, Bayby woah
Camps Bayby, Bayby, Bayby you know
We sippin’ on some cocktails and wine”

Want to help them write a verse by remixing this?

You know you love me, I know you care
Just shout whenever and I’ll be there
You want my love, you want my heart
And we will never, ever, ever be apart
Are we an item? Girl, quit playing
We’re just friends, what are you saying?
Said “There’s another,” and looked right in my eyes
My first love broke my heart for the first time, and I was like…

Send us your idea of some lines about Camps Bay below and tune in to Smile Breakfast to hear your version of the song!

It’s not often that Bobby & Lindy bash heads, but what started out as a conversation about passing one’s driver’s license test led to an argument about who the better driver is – men or women? Angel Campey from the Smile Drive heard the altercation and challenged both to prove themselves where it mattered – on the road. Bobby & Lindy accepted Angel’s challenge to redo their driver’s license test.

Since then they’ve been surprised by senior traffic officer Richard Coleman who had been working with Producer Phil to arrange a time and date for them to take the test, but of course, you can’t get a driver’s license without passing your learners first. So it was time to hit the books, specifically the K53 books, and prepare to head to the Gallows Hill traffic department to prove that they both rules of the road.

On Friday the 22nd of February the two went to meet Richard Coleman at the traffic department and sat down to answer the K53 test.

The studying seemed to pay off for at least one of them. Richard gave Bobby & Lindy a call the following Monday and told Bobby that he would need to rewrite his learners because he had failed by one point on the road rules section of the learner’s license test. A small victory for Lindy and a knock on Bobby’s ego.

Bobby was determined to pass the second time around and crammed in some last minute studying.

Thankfully, he passed on his second attempt.

It’s been finalised. Bobby & Lindy will be re-taking their driver’s license test on Monday 18 March at 11:00. They needed some last minute tips and tricks.

Tune in to Smile Breakfast, weekday mornings from 6 to 9, to keep up with their progress.
